Location modes
Google Meet creates a unique Meet link automatically when the booking is confirmed and Google Calendar is connected.
Phone Call stores plain location text and does not create a join button.
Custom Link stores the URL you enter in the product setup and uses it as the buyer join link.
How Custom Link works
Custom Link is static by default. The same URL is sent to every buyer for that product.
Use this for permanent rooms like Zoom PMI, Whereby rooms, or persistent Teams rooms.
If you prefer one-off links from another platform, update the meeting URL per booking from the bookings dashboard after purchase.
Buyer and seller email behavior
On new booking creation, the seller receives a booking alert email with buyer and schedule details.
If approval is required, the buyer first receives a request-received email, then receives the confirmation email after approval.
When a confirmed booking meeting URL is updated manually, the buyer receives a meeting-link-updated email with the new join button.
Operational recommendation
For low-touch booking operations, use Google Meet auto-generation or a permanent Custom Link room.
For one-off external links, treat seller alert email plus dashboard quick edit as the standard operating flow.
Keep product copy short so buyers know where to find updates: booking confirmation email and booking details page.
