How to set up a community product

A community product gates access to a community space. The space can be a Discord, Slack, Circle, or any platform with an invite link.

Community spaces are created in the Growth workspace under communities. Each space has a title, description, invite URL, and access type.

Access types are: free, one-time purchase, and membership. Membership access stays active as long as the subscription is active.

Create a community space in Growth then Communities. Enter the invite URL for the external platform.

Create a product with category Community in the Products workspace.

The community space is linked to the product. Buyers who complete checkout receive the invite URL in their fulfillment email.

Active members can access the invite URL from their access page.

For membership-gated communities, access is revoked automatically when the subscription lapses.

For one-time community products, access persists unless you manually expire the grant.
