How the platform referral program works

What this program is

This is the platform's own referral program. It rewards partners who bring creators into paid platform plans.

It is not the seller's outbound affiliate or partner-link system, and it should never be explained as the same thing.

The current default commission is 20%, stored as 2000 basis points.

Operational model

Referral partners live in the internal admin surface and are created with an email, referral code, commission rate, and optional notes.

Creator referral attribution is tracked separately from seller storefront activity so platform growth reporting stays clean.

The admin surface should stay minimal: partner count, default commission, and only the partners or creators that need follow-up now.

Support rule

When discussing referral payouts or attribution, refer to this as a platform subscription acquisition program.

Do not merge the language with seller commissions, product revenue share, or storefront-level affiliate links.
