Core rule
Product-sale revenue belongs to the seller. The platform does not hold seller funds from product sales.
The seller remains responsible for the offer, refund policy, disputes, taxes, and customer support for those sales.
The platform provides the storefront, checkout routing, fulfillment triggers, delivery links, and operational tracking.
Platform billing vs seller checkout
Platform billing is the seller's own subscription to use Just My Site. That is separate from the seller's customer-facing checkout.
Seller checkout is configured in the payments workspace and determines where buyer payments are collected for products.
Keep these two contexts separate in product copy, support conversations, and future implementation work.
Stripe and PayPal
When Stripe is active, paid checkout runs in the seller's Stripe Standard account.
When PayPal is active, paid checkout runs in the seller's PayPal merchant context.
The app tracks order and payment state locally, but provider-native finance, disputes, and payout behavior remain owned by the seller and their provider account.
